2021 CHRISTMAS PARADE

Come RING IN THE SEASON with BAC in the Jefferson Christmas Parade!!

This year the Parade STARTS at the JEFFERSON CIVIC CENTER

DROP OFF @ CIVIC CENTER -

there is Little to no parking at the Civic Center - students will need to be dropped off quickly and Cars exit. Upon arrival please check in with your group Chaperone. chaperones if you can, please have someone drop you off as we will not be returning to the civic center and there is very little parking. (SCROLL DOWN TO FIND YOUR PARADE GROUP)

DANCE GROUPS 1-3: 10:15

MARCHERS GROUP 4-5: 10:30

PICK UP @ MILL

BAC is exiting the Parade early (at the mill)

PICK UP will be In front of the old Jar Fly Store

  • ENTER thru BACK ROADS,

  • PARK AT THE MILL / REAL DEAL PARKING LOT

  • WALK down to get your child in the front lot

Please meet us at the Pick up Location AS soon as you are able. You are welcome to watch the rest of the parade from the pick up location. Thank you!!

DRESS CODE for CHAPERONES & STUDENTS!

ALL DANCERS & MARCHERS:

  • Must Wear a PARADE SHIRT to Participate. (DEADLINE to ORDER A SHIRT was nOON NOV 10.) your NonRefundable Shirt will be delivered Directly to your home the week before the parade.

  • PANTS: Participants must supply their own solid black dance/yoga pants or leggings (no colors or embellishments)

  • SHOES: Wear comfortable sneakers

  • HAIR: DANCERS Please put hair in a bun, no bows or Embellishments (our goal is to all look the same)

  • WEATHER: Dress appropriate for the weather but don’t wear anything over your shirt. (bundle up under your parade shirt) Also keep in mind we do break a sweat once we start Marching/ dancing !

MARCHERS & CHAPERONES

  • BRING CANDY - if you want to throw candy - Bring a Holiday Gift bag filled with Candy to Throw to the Crowd! (marchers & chaperones only)

CHAPERONES

  • may purchase a parade shirt or wear matching colors (Blue & White) .

  • ONLY BAC Students and Chaperones can participate – we kindly ask all siblings, friends and other relatives to support us from the sidelines (not march). 

GENERAL INFO

  • MARCHERS : Dance & theater Students of all ages are invited to march with us and throw candy to the crowds along the route! Please bring a Gift bag of candy to throw!

  • DANCERS : students in the junior, Comprehensive, pre-Teen, Teen, Company levels may choose to DANCE in The parade. The Parade routine will be taught during Jazz class in those levels.

    • STUDENTS AGE 3-7 walks with a parent (Sign Up together)

    • STUDENTS AGE 8+ Will be assigned a group chaperone (join Our Parent parade squad! See Below)

  • GROUP CHAPERONE (Parent Parade Squad) :  Adults are needed To Watch a group of students (age 8+) During the parade & drop off / pick up. (Parents Of students Age 3-7 will Walk with Their own child) chaperones may purchase a parade shirt or wear matching colors. PLEASE BRING A GIFT BAG FULL OF CANDY TO THROW! ONLY BAC Students and Parents can participate – we kindly ask all sibling, friends and relatives to support us from the sidelines (not march).
