GRINCHMAS SHOW DETAILS
On December 14, BAC will present a GRINCH inspired Holiday Dance Concert at the Seney Stovall Chapel in Athens.

DEC 14 DRESS REHEARSAL 3:00-4:30 @ Seney Stovall Chapel (Students & CHAPERONES only)
ARRIVE READY at 3:00 wearing TAN LEOTARD, TAN TIGHTS, DANCE SHOES with HAIR AND MAKE UP DONE
“I see London, I see France… don’t let them see your underpants! “ Reminder- NO UNDIES - your tan leotard and tights serve as
dancers underwear to avoid seeing them onstage under costumes.CHAPERONES arrive at 2:45 (please have your dancers hair and make up Done before you come)
BEFORE YOU COME -
REMOVE ALL JEWELRY ( WATCHES, EARRINGS, BRACELETS, NECKLACES, ETC)
REMOVE TATTOOS
REMOVE BRIGHT NAIL POLISH (neutral colors are fine)
COME IN DANCE SHOES - Wear to theater
BALLET SHOES: Mice, Santa for a Day, Where are you Xmas
TAP SHOES: Trim up the Tree
JAZZ SHOES: Who’s Love Xmas/welcome Reprise, You’re a Mean one, Perfect Xmas
TEENS- Arrive in JAZZ, bring Ballet
COMPANY: Arrive IN BALLET, Bring BLACK JAZZ, TAN TAP (Sr)
HAIR - use bands and clips that blend with your HAIR color
WHO’S LOVE XMAS - TWO HIGH BUNS (space buns) place to allow for headband
TEENS - Half Up
EVERYONE ELSE - Ballet Bun
COMPANY - Bring your steamed tutu, black leotard and black shorts
THIS IS A CLOSED REHEARSAL - Parents drop off students backstage at 3:00 and return at 4:30 to main entrance to take seats
AFTER THE SHOW - MOM (ONLY) will be called to the stage (with the card you received at check in) to collect your dancer, bring them downstairs to the greenroom, and help them change, then exit out the backstage door to the parking lot. ALL OTHER GUESTS (siblings, grand parents, relative, friends) exit out the main door after the show and meet Mom and Dancer OUTSIDE.

BE A BACKSTAGE CHAPERONE
We need Backstage Chaperones! volunteers Chaperones will work BOTH the rehearsal and the show
backstage Chaperones will be responsible for :
helping a class of dancers get ready (Put Costumes on/off)
lining up a class of dancers when its time to go onstage
keeping a class of dancers quiet and organized backstage.
