BAC is excited to announce our winter show will be a BENEFIT DANCE CONCERT for Fostering Hope Clothes Closet! We are so happy to give our students an opportunity to use their time and talents to raise money for a wonderful organization that does such great work in our community! Full season BAC students age 3-18 Are Eligible to enroll in this extra production! #BACgivesBack

GENERAL INFORMATION

A FROZEN CHRISTMAS

Told Thru narration & Dance, Anna and Elsa discover the true meaning of Christmas in this Stage production. the roles of Elsa, Anna, Sven, Olaf & Iduna will be played by talented members of our Senior Dance company. To bring this story to the stage, We need dancers to perform the parts of Reindeer, Snowmen, Silver Bells, Candy Canes, party Goers, Snow flakes, icicles, and more! This Sweet story is certain to warm your heart and spirit.

BENEFIT CONCERT

our winter show is always a fundraiser. It is a Separate (Optional) program for dance students who want to use Their time and talent to give bacK! This year, we so excited to be raising Money for FOSTERING HOPE CLOTHES CLOSET. Full Season Students Age 3-up Are Eligible to Enroll. SPACE IN EACH AGE LEVEL IS VERY LIMITED.

REHEARSALS - START OCT 16

Students will need to attend 8 rehearsals to learn & Practice their routine. after Registration ends (and we Know who and how many students are Participating) we will assign dancers into Parts/numbers and schedule Rehearsal times. REHEARSALS BEGIN OCT 16

  • DANCERS (Primary, Elementary, Junior, Comprehensive levels) will be assigned a 30-60 min Rehearsal time Slot on SATURDAYS between 10:00-3:00.

  • TEEN / PRE-TEEN CLASS - in Oct & Nov teens/preteens will rehearse for 30 min after their Weekly class (Tue or Thur 8:00-8:30). And attend 60-90 min Saturday rehearsals In December.

  • COMPANY CLASSES will Rehearse Mondays nights, And join a Saturday rehearsal in December.

COSTUMES

Dancers will be Provided a Costume to Wear at the Performance. Students will need to purchase a Tan Camisole leotard & Tan Tights to wear under their costume. All Costumes are returned to BAC after the performance.

PRODUCTION FEE: $150 per dancer / $100 Per *sibling

This fee covers 8 rehearsals @ BAC, dress Rehearsal @ the theater, and use of a costume. a production like this represents hundreds of hours preparation from our staff and an Enormous amount of Expenses. The production fee helps cover the Theater rental, Insurance, sound/Light Technicians, staff wages, Utilities, props, music, various Production & Administrative expenses. The Fee will be charged to The card on file when you Enroll. fees & Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are not included. 50% of Ticket sales will be donated to fostering hope! * Sibling rate applies to dancers living in same household, under same BAC Parent account.

SUNDAY DEC 19: DRESS REHEARSAL @3:00 & SHOW @ 5:00

The show is roughly 45-60 minutes. we will hold a closed dress Rehearsal (no audience allowed) At the theater at 3:00 followed by the performance immediately following it at 5:00

STAGE: THE VENUE @ FRIENDSHIP SPRINGS

Last Year we had our Winter and spring recital at this theater, it is big, modern and beautiful! The Large auditorium and moveable seating will allow us to safely spread families out. (The pictures below )

COVID19 SAFETY For LIVE & VIRTUAL PERFORMANCE

We are Committed to providing a stage perFormance Safely And responsibly! audience Will be required to wear masks inside the theater. Depending on the Community spread come Dec, tickets may be limited per family (determined by what The health Dept, CDC and theater deem safe) we will also provide Pay Per View LIVE STREAM TICKETS so All Your friends and Relatives Who cannot attend in person, can safely watch from the comfort of home!

SHOULD COVID RESTRICTIONS OR SHUT DOWN PREVENT A LIVE AUDIENCE we will switch to a virtual production and film at the theater or at the studio (if the theater closes) And make our show Into a movie! We do not anticipate this will happen, but we should be prepared that any of these options could apply. fees remain the same regardless of weather a live or Virtual event takes place. Fees and tickets are nonrefundable
